Believe You are Blessed

Being blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in heavenly places is an overwhelmingly generous promise! That’s why it’s important to understand that this promise is conditional.  Firstly, one must be born-again to receive it, and secondly, it doesn’t just happen in our lives – we must believe for it! Now, if we were living in Old Testament times, the promise of all the blessings of the Lord were conditional to the performance of God’s people.  They had to obey every law of Moses.  But thankfully, because of the finished work of the cross, we now have to have faith to believe to receive God’s promises. In other words, living in God’s abundant blessing is not dependent on our righteousness but on Christ’s! If you have a revelation of your right standing with God because of what Jesus did for you through His shed blood, then you should have a revelation of your position to come before Him in faith and receive everything that blood accomplished for you too.  You have become a joint heir with Christ! Everything that belongs to Jesus right now, belongs to you right now too! The next important step to us experiencing God’s promises being manifest in our lives, is to know what to pray for and how to do it.  In Matthew 18:18, Jesus tells us that we have been given an open heaven.  Whatever is permitted in heaven, He has given us the permission and authority to ask for and declare here on earth.  Then, in His very next breath, He says this: Matthew 18:19-20, “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”  Here He tells us the authority to ask and receive from heaven lies in His Name! When we use His name, it represents Him – and He guarantees us that He will take that very request and present it to the Father, and it will be done.  What a privilege to believe in such a wonderful Saviour! Believe you are blessed today – and walk in the reality of that blessing!
