A beautiful benefit of our covenant relationship with Christ is being under His watchful care, where all our needs are supplied. What’s more, they aren’t supplied according to the standard of the present economy, they are supplied according to His standard of riches in glory! That kind of abundance is exceptional! Now, for a covenant relationship to work, there is an expectation placed on both parties.
Jesus has already met His expectation by securing every benefit through the finished work of the cross. Our part is to obey the conditions of these benefits. We call these conditions – kingdom of God principles. When these principles are applied by faith, they cause us to be recipients of His abundant provision. The church of Philippi were well-practised in the principle of sowing and reaping. They generously sowed financial seed into the work of the ministry, and as a result, received an abundant harvest back into their personal lives. Likewise, when we give generously into the kingdom of God, our covenant of provision is secured.
Every financial seed sown into His kingdom causes a bountiful supply of provision to come back into our lives – by His standard of glorious riches!
