As a carrier of God’s divine presence, we respond to life’s situations differently from the world around us. We have been set apart to reflect God’s consistently good character and nature even in the most challenging of times.
Instead of responding from our flesh in fright, panic, anger, resentment, offence or fear – we respond from our spirit-man with faith, peace, love, kindness, and joy. This is really wonderful because we get to change the very atmosphere around us and then speak the will of God right into the situation. In essence, we take whatever the enemy intended for evil, and turn it around for good! In the Old Testament, the tribe of Levi were set apart to do just this. They literally changed the atmosphere for a nation that faced certain defeats on the battlefield. When they carried the Ark of the Covenant which held the presence of God, they were able to praise and worship Him, and with hearts full of faith – declaring victory in His Name! As a result, God’s people only had to stand and watch the enemy’s camp be thrown into confusion as they destroyed themselves.
Today, become more aware of God’s indwelling presence than what is going on around you. Speak from your spirit and watch how God supernaturally causes you to triumph over every trial – gloriously showing off the powerful nature of God!
