When we seek, call out and desire to encounter our God, He promises to make Himself known to us (John 14:21). Many people desperately seek affirmation and encouragement. They look to and rely on man or possessions to make them feel accepted, admired, or respected by others. As children of God, we have been divinely chosen and recognised by God Himself!
We don’t need to look anywhere else for acceptance and affirmation – we already please God by believing in Him, and accepting His redeeming love. This is the starting point of our fulfilled and satisfied life in Him. As we continue to respond to His love and diligently seek Him first in our lives, He rewards us far greater than the world ever could (Hebrews 11:6; Matthew 6:33). While popularity and opinions constantly fluctuate according to the standards of a rapidly declining world, make a choice to only see yourself through the mirror of God’s Word.
You are loved and cherished. You are righteous and pure, and you will never be abandoned or left without while your heart is fixed on loving your God. We were never created to live separately and out of fellowship with the Father; and yet, because He loves us so much, He has given us the ability to choose. Choose Him and be loved completely and unconditionally every day.
