Created In His Image

God has placed more within us than we realise. The Bible teaches that we have a spirit man, with a soul (mind, will, emotions), and we live in a body. We get to experience life in this natural world through five basic senses (what we touch, see, taste, smell and hear). But as children of God, we are called to live from the greater place – our spirits.

This is where we live in communion with the Spirit of God because our spirits and His Spirit are inseparably connected (1 Corinthians 6:17). This is where we operate by faith, a spiritual sense that isn’t dictated by what we see in the natural world around us. This is where we get to see things from God’s perspective and live full of hope and victory. The more we encounter God’s presence in His Word, the clearer we see Him and His way of life and we become transformed into people who live so full of Him and His love and power, that it begins to radiate out from us.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”  It’s time to embrace who God has made you to be – His very own child, made in His image, to influence your natural world with His supernatural life.
