Many Christians forget they are God’s covenant people. When we received Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour, we were adopted into God’s very own household of faith. The Bible says we became His children, and heirs to His kingdom.
We are different from the world and are called to live with a different spirit and perspective. We have His Spirit Who enables us to discern and differentiate between what is of godly character, and what is wicked. In today’s text, it says we are able to see the difference between those who serve and are in covenant with God, and those who aren’t. This means we are able to know who to align ourselves with, and who to not take counsel from.
Be careful to forge meaningful relationships with those who have God’s heart and nature, and who stand in covenant with Him. Use the gift of discernment God has placed inside you to know the difference between partnerships that will increase God’s blessing on your life, and those that will not.
