Don’t Settle for Less

As born-again believers, we are called to be God’s chosen instruments here and now. However, many settle for an average Christian experience and never respond to the call of God.  Ephesians 2:10 says we were predestined to work in an inseparable partnership with Jesus, doing the good works He has already empowered us to do! The kingdom of God is within us and as we daily acknowledge His Presence in us, He empowers us to release His righteousness, peace and joy into the earth – wherever we go! The Bible says He seeks out those whose hearts are loyal to Him, and ready to live for Him.

These are those He shows Himself strong to, on their behalf.  How would the course of history be changed if Ananias didn’t understand this truth and refused to lay hands upon Saul that day? It would have been natural for him to withdraw in fear and resentment towards Saul – but he obeyed the Lord, stepped out in faith and released the power of God into a man who subsequently, significantly impacted this world with the gospel. God never overrides our freewill. We get to choose to either settle for an average Christian life, or to change this world for His Kingdom. So make your choice to not settle for less, knowing the Greater One dwells in you to work through you.
