So many of God’s people are asking Him for things He has already done for them and given to them. When we find out what is already ours through what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross and through His resurrection, our priority is to then learn how to tap into that source of supply and begin receiving all those wonderful things into our lives. This process begins with the obvious – finding out what the Word of God says is already ours and renewing our minds to that! The Word of God contains all the power and life within it to supply us with the reality of every need we will ever have. Proverbs 4:20-23 says, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Two major needs Believer’s all over the world struggle to receive from God are in the area of their health and finances. When we begin to understand that the Bible says perfect health (2 Peter 2:24) and financial freedom (2 Corinthians 8:9) have already been given to us through the finished work of the cross, most of our battle to receive has been won! As that truth begins to grow on the inside of us, our faith and confidence to receive grows too. The supernatural life that is in the Word we hold fast to, begins to flow into our minds bringing peace and joy and clarity on how to apply that truth to our lives. Because we believe differently, we speak differently and act according to what God’s Word says. We declare God’s healing power over our bodies, fully expecting to see it manifest, because we know God says we have been healed. We become generous in our giving, fully expecting to see a financial harvest, because we know God’s blessing of increase is connected to our generosity. Today, make a simple, yet crucial mind change to know and believe the Word – it will cause you to be able to draw everything God says you already have into every area of your life! Think differently, speak differently, and you will do and receive differently too!
