Trials and difficult challenges can often steal our peace and joy in this life. If we could navigate through life without any hardships along the way, imagine who easy and pleasant that would be. The truth is, we live in a fallen world where the devil is our enemy and has made it his business to make our lives as miserable as possible – distracting us from walking in the authority and victory Jesus already won for us through His death, burial and resurrection. For many, life’s challenges become overwhelming especially when they appear to never let up, making it seem as if there is no rest from the pressures and ordeals in the foreseeable future. This is not your story if you are reading this today! God has given us His Word, His Name, and His authority to deal with any and every difficulty as it comes our way. Once we have taken each problem to Him in prayer, and declared His Word concerning each one in faith, His Holy Spirit has an unending supply of strength for us to stand our ground and endure until those problems yield to the Word of God. The Bible says we are to count each trial as an opportunity for great joy! That’s because the victory is already ours, and the favourable outcome has already been determined! With this kind of attitude in mind we can literally laugh at the trouble knowing the Lord is our strength, our shield, and very great reward! As we declare His truth over the problems and have unwavering trust in His faithfulness to watch over His Word to perform it – our faith becomes undergirded by supernatural enduring strength!
