Did you know that God is not pleased in seeing His children suffer lack of any kind. Whether it be lack in the area of health, love, peace, or prosperity. That’s because lack is in direct contrast to His nature. He is a generous God, abounding in ALL things good! According to the Word of God, when we accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, we were born of God! 1 Peter 1:23 says, “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,”. Our re-born spirts are of the very same nature and substance of God! Hallelujah! Galatians 2:20 says it’s not us that live, but Christ who lives in us – and the life we now live, we live by His faith! So, we have His nature and His faith – which is exactly all we need to live in the same abundant life and demonstrate the same generosity as He does! Throughout the ages He has demonstrated His generosity to those who love Him and keep covenant with Him. God is not interested in you being in lack of any kind – He is only interested in you overflowing with abundant life and being enriched in all things, in every way! He wants to demonstrate His care and kindness to you – if you would just believe this about Him and learn to trust in His kindness and faithfulness towards you. Of course, He has provided us with sound biblical principles, such as sowing and reaping, that connect us to His never-ending Heavenly supply. But just following these principles without the revelation of His heart of kindness and goodness towards us becomes a mechanical act, void of true faith. Which means it will never produce the full extent of His generous provision in our lives. Decide to meditate on the truth of His love and faithfulness towards you so that when you do apply His principles, your heart will be overwhelmed with love and gratitude towards Him and absolute faith in Him! He is a good God and is completely committed to enriching you in all things – if you would just trust in His nature to do so.
