Are you standing on the Word of God concerning a particular promise you are wanting to see fulfilled in your life? Sometimes it can be tough to keep believing, especially when circumstances surrounding you seem to be proving the opposite to what you are hoping for. Rest assured, God will always honour His Word, but we cannot afford to be distracted by things that tempt us to doubt His faithfulness towards us. The verse before the one we are studying today tells us what to do in order to keep our faith focused and strong. It says to continue in the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord ALL DAY LONG! Even when you aren’t seeing any change in the natural, don’t stop believing. Keep on loving the Lord, delight yourself in His Word, worship Him in everything you do, being grateful for His mercy and kindness towards you in all things – throughout your day – regardless of what is happening in the natural. No matter what, resist anything that attempts to cut your expectation short by building yourself up in the Lord. This will keep your heart and mind rooted in faith, and your expectation of God’s faithfulness will prove to be true. All it takes is a mustered sized seed of uncontaminated faith to get the job done. So keep your heart and mind fixed on Him, with your mouth filled with praise, and your expectation will not be cut off as every promise becomes your manifest reality!
