Eyes To See Him

Jesus had just healed a man who had been blind from birth. The Pharisees were furious when they questioned the man because his simple faith showed up their stubborn refusal to acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God. But none are as blind as those who refuse to see. There are countless signs around us every day indicating the existence and goodness of God. Yet many choose to ignore His ability and willingness to manifest Himself and His power in their lives, in a way that is greater than they could ever dream or imagine. Knowing about Jesus, or being content to keep Him at a distance, where He doesn’t interrupt or interfere with the control of our lives, is being as foolish as those stubborn Pharisees who refused to recognise Him for Who He truly was. Jesus came to seek and save the lost and bring us into a life of freedom, purpose, and power over the enemy. Until we recognise our need for His complete control of our lives, we’ll never experience the peace and joy of knowing Him, and continuously being in victory. Let’s keep our eyes wide open to see Him as the One who is completely in control of our lives so we don’t spend an eternity being blind to His Presence.
