Everything that exists, that is good, God created. He has filled it all with Himself, sustaining it with His power (1 Corinthians 8:6, Colossians 1:16). There is no-one greater than He is, no other Name higher than His own. Yet, Psalm 138:2 says He has exalted His Word above His Name. Just how dependable must His Word be? In John 15, Jesus said that if we would make it our business to abide in Him and have His Word remain in us, to mould and transform us, we could expect 2 distinct results. Firstly, we will bear much fruit, and secondly, whatever we ask will be done for us. There’s nothing insignificant about those results! Results brought on all because of our attitude towards the Word of God! There’s more,1 Timothy 6:17 teaches us that when we place our hope in God, we will find ourselves living in His unending provision, furnished with everything for our enjoyment. Today, as you become aware of how much God values His Word being alive inside of you, choose to embrace and treasure it with the honour it deserves. You will never be ashamed for trusting in it, and will see a cycle of rich and ceaseless provision set in motion in your life.
