1 John 4:13 (AMPC): “By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit.”

The Bible tells us the Spirit of the Lord rested upon Jesus when He walked among us (Isaiah 11:2). It’s noticeably evident His success of ministry and purpose had everything to do with His inseparable relationship with His Heavenly Father through the fellowship and presence of the Holy Spirit in His life.
The Holy Spirit is all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful. 1 Corinthians 2:10 tells us the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God, and communicates them to our spirits. He is the very breath and expression of God; anything He speaks comes directly from the heart of God, and then He transmits it directly to our spirits (John 16:13-15). Since everything, we will ever need for life and victory already exists in God, and His Spirit is vitally connected to ours – continuously transmitting divine wisdom and overcoming power into our spirits – there is nothing we cannot overcome while we are in perfect harmony with Him.
This is our reality: the Almighty God abides in us and we abide in Him, through His precious Holy Spirit. So make Him your dwelling place, delight in being one with Him and fear of defeat will flee from you the same way light expels darkness – without a fight.
