The great commission is not a task for five-fold ministers alone; it’s the assignment Jesus gives to all who believe in Him. Every person has a sphere of influence where the truth of God’s nature can be personally shared. Since the Spirit of God lives inside us and empowers us, we are fully equipped for the task.
The goodness, kindness, and faithfulness God shows to us; His sweet communion with us; and His Word that nourishes and builds our faith; is more than enough to spontaneously overflow from our personal relationship with Him into the lives of those we meet every day. Our lives are a living testimony of what it is to intimately know the Person of Jesus Christ.
There is no greater satisfaction than being used by God to love others with His kindness and care. If someone rejects you, remember that Jesus Himself was rejected. He said to just dust off our feet and move on. We are called to travel light – without the heavy burden of offence to keep us from fulfilling our assignment of leading others to Christ.
