God is With You and For You!

The Bible declares that God is ALWAYS with us and that He is for us!  This is a promise we can always rely on.  The issue is not whether He can keep His Word, it’s whether or not we choose to constantly live in an awareness of His promise to do so.  In Joshua 1:8, God told Joshua that the only way he would prosper and have good success, was to meditate on His Word.  God’s Word is truth and keeping our thoughts on it keeps us co-operating with Him so that He can keep His goodness, peace, joy, wisdom, favour, and power flowing into our lives.  For instance, if I keep meditating on the truth that God is always with me and in me, and is always working for me to prosper, I’m going to start expecting to see that in everything I do. I’m certainly not opposing Him working for me, am I? No, I’m cooperating with Him, by constantly being in agreement with His Word concerning me!  Now it’s important to note, I’m not meditating on God’s Word for Him to bless me – I’m already blessed because of what Jesus did for me.  I’m meditating on God’s Word to co-operate with Him to see that blessing be a constant reality in my life.  He has made a way for us to work with Him to see His goodness flow! Keeping our minds fixed on the reality that He is with us and for us is that way!  Matthew 28:20 is another confirmation of this! He again gives us His Word that He is with us until the end of the age! The AMPC version says, “I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age.”  John 14:17 Jesus promised us we would receive, “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” In verse 20 He says, “At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” He is in us! 1 John 2:27 tells us, “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, …” Hebrews 13:5 reminds us again that Jesus said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” If you meditate on this truth all the time – you will begin to live like someone who carries the Presence of God – and you will begin enjoying His Presence being with you too! This is how we live in a place of constantly expecting and experiencing His blessing!
