God never intended for us to live independent of His Presence. This is where we receive the fulness of joy, which according to Nehemiah 8:10, is the supernatural strength we need to overcome in this life. The Word also tells us we receive great refreshing from being in the Presence of the Lord. It’s the place where God’s peace overrides all confusion, and His love overpowers all fear.
Time spent in His Presence is where we receive all we need to excel in our tasks and overcome every challenge. We carry what we receive from Him into every detail of our day, causing us to deal wisely and obtain favour in all things. And in those moments where it seems like we can’t win, instead of giving up, or giving in to defeat – we hold our peace, knowing the answer we need is already in God’s heart for us.
We can trust that He is ready and willing to reveal what we need to succeed. Make spending quality time with the Lord in His Word your first priority of the day, and His Presence will dominate the rest of it; bringing success and favour into all you do.
