Jesus is our Good Shepherd. The Bible tells us that when we make Him our refuge and secret place, we have no need to fear anything – because He will hide us in Himself. Psalm 91 says we will remain stable and fixed under His almighty shadow – which is His anointing power. It is a power that no foe can withstand! When we keep ourselves in the truth of His Word, the Bible says His truth and faithfulness will be our shield, defending us from any and every attack of the enemy. Not only is the Lord our fierce protector, but He is also our life-peace, our freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts! (2 Peter 1:2-3). When we follow the leading of our Good Shepherd, He will always lead us out of trouble, away from lack and into rest and plenty. Matthew 6:33 tells us that placing Him and His ways as our first place in our lives will cause His provision to flow to us. Fully trusting in Him as our source for healing and restoration when our lives seem to be going wrong and things appear to be falling apart, will bring us through those trials and to a banqueting table – even in the presence of the enemy! When we are tested and pressed, He is our very present help in our time of need. He is always with us, never forsakes us, and fills our hearts with His powerful love that never fails nor weakens! He is our portion and our victory as He ALWAYS, without exception, leads us in triumph! 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” Follow your Good Shepherd today, you will find He is all you will ever need!
