Healing Is Always God’s Will

In Matthew 8, a leper approached Jesus, prostrated himself before Him and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me.” He had no problem believing Jesus had the power to heal him, he just needed to know that it was His will to do it.  Of course, Jesus was willing, since this was part of His assignment from heaven!  In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus picked up the scroll and read out His assignment that was prophesied over Him from the book of Isaiah!  He was to announce and proclaim the release and deliverance of anyone who was held captive by the oppression of the devil, it whatever form.  Whether it’s mental, physical, or spiritual – Jesus was anointed to deliver us from all the works of the devil and any sickness or disease is most certainly included in that!  And so we see Jesus didn’t hesitate in His response to the leper.  He reached out, touched him and said, “I am willing, be cleansed and cured.”.  So when we look at what Jesus fully meant when He said He was willing, it meant not only will He do it, not only does He desire to do it, but it is in His nature and purpose to do it! It is ALWAYS His will to heal! Even when people had a lack of faith in Jesus, the Bible says He still laid His hands on the sick and cured them (Mark 6:5). There is not one place in scripture that signifies that healing every sick person is not the perfect will of God. In fact, there are many that prove the opposite! Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 4:23, 10:1;Luke 6:19; 1 Peter 2:24 are just a few.  Never doubt that God’s will is to ALWAYS see us healed and whole, without exception! He is willing and able, so believe it and receive it today!
