The Word of God tells us that through the finished work of the cross, which includes Jesus’ resurrection and position of authority over every principality and power – our re-born spirits are complete in Him! (Colossians 2:9). Our spirits are not just perfect, they contain the fullness of the Godhead! All the power that resides in God resides in our spirit-man because 1 Corinthians 6:17 says we are one spirit with God’s Spirit! Hallelujah! That means the power of God to be delivered and healed dwells in our spirits – where the Spirit of God dwells! When we take a minute to let this truth sink in – we will realise that we don’t have to beg and pray for God to send His power to heal our bodies – because He has already given it to us! It’s literally dwelling inside of us! All we need to do is acknowledge what He has already done and thank Him for it! As we do this, our grateful hearts cause that healing power to flow from our spirits into our bodies! Philemon 1:6 says our faith to experience everything God has already given us through Jesus is made effectual as we acknowledge every good thing we have in Him! So stop trying to get from God what He has already done for you! Simply come to the point where you settle in your heart and mind that Jesus has done it all already and all you need to do is believe and thank Him for it! As you do – the Holy Spirit will cause His river of life to rise up from your spirit that is connected to His – and flow right into every part of your body! This river of life is for your healing, peace and irrepressible joy! It’s time to walk in the reality of that healing today – acknowledge, give thanks and be healed!
