God is love, so to live in Him, and have His power live through us, His love must be in every detail. How do we get God’s love to dominate the way we think and act? Well, the launching pad for doing everything in love is letting love in.
When last did you take a moment to simply come into the Presence of the Lord without any agenda, except to open your heart to love Him and be loved by Him? To simply be in His Presence… no hurry, no noise – just Jesus! “Nothing to offer”; nothing else to bring except yourself to Him. See, it was God who loved us first and demonstrated that love for us way before we had the opportunity to accept that love, let alone reciprocate it. God so loved us that He gave His Son to be with us and demonstrate His unconditional love to us.
The Word of God tells us to be founded in that love (Ephesians 3:17). His love takes root when we let the Holy Spirit reveal Jesus to us, and we learn to lean on Him completely. Today, resign yourself to know and experience the love God has for you. Let it fill you up and overflow, causing all you do to be dominated by its unconquerable power.
