Live Like the Blessed

Have you spent time reading over Deuteronomy 28 where line upon line records the marvelous blessing of Abraham? It’s important to understand that this blessing was given to the seed of Abraham – and it was conditional.  In other words, it was available and accessible by right – but they could only partake of it if they paid attention to the Lord’s instructions and obeyed them. In other words, their being blessed was carried on a lifestyle of choosing God’s way above their own.  Now according to Galatians 3:29 – we are Abraham’s seed and heirs to his promise through Christ Jesus. Which means the blessing written down in detail in Deuteronomy 28 is made available and accessible to us too – by right! Hallelujah! So, what is the condition we must fulfil in order to partake of this blessing? Matthew 6:33 tells us we must seek God’s kingdom ways above our own. The kingdom of God is a way of life (Romans 14:17), and its currency is faith. When we live according to God’s kingdom principles and apply faith as our currency to walk in the fulfilment of God’s promises – we will be successful every time! (Psalm 1:1-3; Jeremiah 17:8). This is how we live like the ‘Blessed of the Lord’! Now it’s important to note that it’s not the measure of our faith that counts, because faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains.  What matters is the purity of our faith. It cannot be contaminated with doubt or unbelief.  We must be able to take God at His Word.  The trouble is we tend to take other things into consideration when it comes to standing on the promises of God. We may read His promise of financial provision, but then immediately consider the current state of our bank account, or the increase in inflation and the decline in the economy. The moment we begin to add all these negative considerations – our faith becomes contaminated, and it will not produce. If you are wanting to see God’s blessing become your reality in every area of your life, you can because it’s your inheritance! But you must seek God’s kingdom first and refuse to add any negative considerations that will counteract your faith. It’s time for you to live in your inheritance – so choose to use your uncontaminated faith and become the ‘Blessed of the Lord”!
