Live like the Found

In Luke chapter 15, we find 3 parables that refer to the joy experienced in heaven when even one person recognises he is lost without personally knowing Jesus, and makes the decision to redirect his life accordingly. Ephesians 1:4 says that even before the foundation of the world, the Lord saw us living in Him. Then, Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”. That means we were born on this earth with a specific purpose that can only be fulfilled when we find our identity in Christ. You see, the moment we become born-again, we move from being lost with a mistaken identity and purpose, into a place of being found in Christ Jesus! When we  respond to His love, recognising we are lost without Him, we are literally snatched out of a Godless, hopeless eternity and placed into the kingdom of light! That’s why we must do everything in our power to know and learn all we can about who we are in Christ and the way His kingdom operates; in order to live out His purpose for our lives and continuously have His supernatural power and Presence invade our natural world. Seeking Him and His ways first will keep us safely living the good life of the found – “…the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.” (Ephesians 2:10 AMPC).
