The Bible tells us our enemy, the devil, fell down from heaven and dominated the earth, bringing chaos and leaving devastation in his wake. However, God created man to be fruitful and replenish the earth, making it fruitful and productive.
He blessed man and enabled him to operate in his God-given authority with the mandate to push back the work of the devil and establish the kingdom of God on the earth. We know that sin turned things the wrong side up, and man handed over the authority God had given him to the devil. Thankfully, because of the finished work of the cross, Jesus stripped the devil of that authority and restored it back to man! Now, because our spirit-man has been made in the image of God, and we have His power alive and at work in us – we can dominate this earth with the atmosphere of heaven once again! In Christ, we have the victory over sin and every wicked thing!
With God’s Word alive in us, we are able to walk in His divine wisdom and carry His righteousness, peace and joy into every circumstance. This is our mandate since the beginning of time. Start renewing your mind to who you are in Christ, and let His purpose work its way in and through you today!
