When Jesus taught from the scriptures in the temple, the leaders were amazed at how He explained them with such wisdom and grace. They were able to grasp the truth so it became a personal revelation and life to them, not just strange mysteries that left them confused or disappointed.
The trouble came when they refused to look past the natural man standing before them, and see Who He really was. They recognised Jesus as being the local carpenter’s son, and nothing more. Their familiarity with the natural overruled the truth of Who was standing before them, and it robbed them of their breakthrough.
We limit the power of God in our lives when our natural thinking and reasoning overrides the truth that’s right before us. We house the Spirit of the Living God and His limitless power within us. We have His thoughts and wisdom from His Word to show us how to overcome every obstacle we will ever face in this life, victoriously.
Never lose sight of the magnificent, supernatural treasure you have in Christ right now! Let it overshadow each natural thought or reasoning you have, so you don’t miss the miraculous breakthrough God has already purposed for you to enjoy.
