God’s favour belongs to His children. It lasts for a lifetime, and it is life to us! The meaning of favour is pleasure, delight, goodwill, and acceptance. John 1:16 in the Amplified Classic Version says, “For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favour upon favour and gift [heaped] upon gift.” When what we read in God’s word becomes a revelation to us, we must follow through by applying that truth to our lives. For example, when the Word says out of His fullness, God has given us favour upon favour – we need to receive that into our hearts, believe its our own truth and begin speaking and expecting and acting like someone who is walking in His favour! We need to wake up in the morning thanking Him for it, and then keep our eyes open to recognise and acknowledge that favour in absolutely everything concerning us! Very soon, more and more favour is attracted to us because we have activated faith to receive and live in it! When we live in the reality of God’s favour over us, our minds are transformed and everything about us begins to align. Everything concerning us, gives way to God’s command and promises, because we have given ourselves in submission to Him!
