The beauty of unapologetically taking a stand for God, in our rightful authority, is knowing that He is a very present help in times of trouble. He will never leave nor forsake us, and whenever we stand for Him, we can be sure, He stands for and if need be, vindicates His children. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood strong in their conviction. They refused to bow and worship the king.
They were fully prepared to die for their stand because they loved and feared God more than the authorities. They knew that the God they served was the God of the supernatural and that He was well- able to deliver them from the fiery furnace, should He choose.
Today, as you remain in intimate communion with the Lord, know you are commissioned to minister the Good News of the Gospel to this generation, with boldness and authority in the face of opposition. Regardless of whether you are well received or not, your God will be with you and strengthen you as you make a righteous stand for Him.
