No God Like Our God

The Bible calls Jesus our ‘Good Shepherd’.  Something interesting about the oriental shepherd is that for the most part, he goes before his flock, leading them along the path that’s best for them.  He guides them away from danger and into places where they will be well nourished, and watered. Before Jesus left the earth, He told His disciples that He was not going to abandon them, but send them a helper who would remain with them forever.  This is what He said the Holy Spirit would do: “…when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:13-15). Whatever decisions we need to make in this life, no matter how insignificant they may seem, we will find their answers when we consult the Spirit of God. He will lead us along the right path that is best for us. He leads us through the wisdom in His Word and His voice in our inner-man, and it always comes with a supernatural peace. A life lived in submission to and under the direction of the Spirit of God will always draw us to a place of  endless victory, abundance and blessing!
