When God called Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, failure was not an option. With all Joshua had to face as he stepped into the shoes of his predecessor, Moses, there was no way he was up to the challenge – in the natural. This was a fact he was well aware of. The Lord promised that as long as Joshua leaned entirely on Him, no matter the opposition, He would be with him and see him through to victory – all the days of his life!
Nothing would ever be able to prevent the purpose of God from unfolding. In the new covenant we have in Christ Jesus, this promise is ours to hold on to too. It’s time to take God at His Word. Keep your eyes on Him and His Word alive in your heart. This way, each day will be a journey of faith as His Spirit leads you from victory to victory – nothing will be able to stand in the way of God’s perfect will for you.
