Perfect, Constant Peace

The Bible gives no support for us to assume we will escape extremely difficult and turbulent times in this world.  What we have already begun to face and are about to see unfold on the world stage is certainly going to shake the nations so violently that the Bible says that no human being will be able to endure it over a prolonged period of time. False hope will certainly present itself so convincingly that even the elect, if possible, will be deceived (Matthew 24:21-23). All this taking place directly before Jesus comes to take His bride from the earth (Matthew 24:30-31). The urgency for us to press deeper into the word and our intimate relationship with Jesus has never been as compelling as it is today. We simply must make a choice to abandon every distraction to know His heart, to meet Him face to face in His word and have Him transform us to become just like Him. To the point where His living word literally becomes a part of our DNA, as we are sanctified and purified in our thoughts, emotions, and will. Praise God! The beauty of the bride of Christ is that in the toughest of times, where she is rejected and hated by the world for standing for righteousness, she is able to prosper in tribulations and draw even closer to Jesus.  This is where He becomes our rock and shelter, our safe place of refuge! Fix your mind on the Lord! Have both its inclination and character so engulfed and swallowed up and hidden in Him, so that you know what it is to lean on and confidently trust in Him and remain in a place of perfect and constant peace through every difficulty, until He returns.
