It’s easy to praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness while obstacles are not in the way of our victory, and there is no threat to our peace and prosperity. The real test, however, comes when the obstacles and threats are looming all around us – which is when our praise must rise to bring them down. In these times we most certainly must not fall silent, instead bold, heartfelt praise must continually be on our lips! That’s because our sincere praise is inhabited by God Himself! The Bible says He is enthroned in our praises! When the presence of God is manifest, His power is too and every knee of every opposing circumstance or demonic power must and will bow to His Name! Praise God! It’s in our sincere praise that our attention is directed to the greatness of God and His Word concerning us. Praise that leads us into victory is not staying silent and praising Him in our thoughts alone but opening our mouths and letting a sound resonate out of us, alerting everyone and everything around us to the glory we are bringing to His Name. Praise is an action, lifting our voices to shake the atmosphere and see things shift into alignment with the will of God! This is what the children of Israel saw under the leadership of Joshua, as the walls of Jericho came down! Those walls weren’t short and weak, they were strong, fortified and towered high. In the natural it would have been impossible for them to conquer, but with God – all things are possible! Never let your praise grow silent. See it as the mighty weapon it is.
