Pray in the Holy Ghost

The Bible says that when we pray in the Spirit, we edify ourselves. The word edify means to uplift or to encourage.  Even when we don’t know how or what to pray for a particular problem – praying in our heavenly language releases the perfect will of God into that circumstance to bring  about the victory! The moment we feel the release of joy and peace come up from our spirit-man, we know the battle is over and God’s Word, released from our spirits has enforced the devil’s defeat and released the atmosphere of heaven. Kenneth E. Hagin once said, “Praying in the Spirit charges your spirit like a battery charger charges a battery”.  Trials and tribulations will come as a result of our decision to follow Christ, but since we have His victorious Spirit living inside us, all we need to do is tap into that power and release it over our lives and whatever issue we are dealing with. Proverbs 24:10 says that if we faint in the day of adversity, it’s because our strength is small. Our strength is small when we neglect to charge ourselves up in the Spirit to rise higher and higher like an edifice – dominating every opposing agenda of the devil – by praying in the Holy Ghost (Jude1:20). This is how we remain strong in the day of adversity, being supernaturally empowered to stand steadfast during any trial, and overcome victoriously!
