God has given us the privilege to discover all that is in Him! The God Who measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, marked off the heavens with a [nine-inch] span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance – wants you to discover all He is. Colossians 2:3 tells us that in Christ lie all the hidden treasures of knowledge and wisdom; and 1 Corinthians 2:10 it says that through the Holy Spirit, God has unveiled and revealed the deep and hidden things that are within Him.
His Holy Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything – even the profound and bottomless things of God – and reveals them to us. And in 1 Corinthians 2:16 it says that since we have the mind of Christ, we hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of God’s own heart. When we search the scriptures and dig out the treasure God has strategically put in place for us to discover and enjoy, we become enriched in every way!
Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever…” Diligently seek the scriptures to know all that God is; you’ll not just set yourself up for success, you’ll position your children for it too, as you teach them the wonderful ways of the Lord!
