Jesus didn’t just come to earth to die for us so that we can live with Him in heaven when our bodies die; there is so much more we inherited from His supernatural work! His eternal life is a continuous supply of resurrection power that flows like a mighty river directly from God’s Spirit into ours. That river of resurrection life is activated when we receive the baptism of the Hoy Spirit, and it flows through our spirits like blood flows through our natural bodies. It surges through us with increasing strength when we purposefully fix our attention on, and turn our affection towards the Lord; and it quickens or makes alive, our natural bodies (Romans 8:11). The Bible tells us that resurrection power is God Himself! God is love, He is light, and He is life! And as we open our hearts to seek Him, and His ways – all these wonderful attributes flow into us and empower us to live just a Jesus did when He walked this earth! The truth is, as children of God – we are expected to live this way! We are supposed to, “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” and live being more aware of the life of God flowing inside us than the natural, carnal desires that pull us away from living supernatural lives. Since God’s supernatural life dwells and flows in us – we are not completely human anymore! Luke 4:1 says Jesus was full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit! (AMPC). Our spirits are alive in Him and so we must live full of, and controlled by the Spirit, and not the flesh, just as Jesus did! Read the Word, pray and maintain a daily lifestyle of obedience to the Holy Spirit, and your intimacy with God will cause His love, life, and light to pour into your heart to live just like Jesus!
