If you’ve received salvation and are washed by the blood of Jesus, you are now transferred into a life that should be marked by reigning in life, here and now. Many people teach that we will eventually reign with Jesus in the Millennium, which is true. However, the above scripture tells us that the reality of us reigning in life doesn’t only begin when we enter heaven, and then come back with Jesus in the millennium – reigning in life, for the believer, begins now! In truth, it begins the day we receive the free gift of righteousness – the day we surrendered our lives to the Lordship of Jesus! The blood of Jesus redeemed us to reign here and now (Galatians 3:13). Just surviving in life is not our portion. The Bible says we have received the abundance of grace (supernatural empowerment) and the free gift of righteousness. The Bible says everyone that is born of God overcomes the world and is victorious in life through faith (1 John 5:4). Neither the devil, nor circumstances of life have the authority to dictate our outcome, because we have been redeemed from the curse and have been given authority over all things through faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:22; Luke 10:19). Let the truth of your redemption come alive inside your heart today as you begin to reign in life, through Christ Jesus!
