Reflecting Him

A Preacher once said, “When believers are exposed to the Word of God, they are empowered to do two things; firstly, to reflect Christ and secondly, to have the tools to live a victorious life.”Many people read and study the Word of God simply to be “educated” and well versed in the scriptures. However, only once we have a revelation of the power and life the Word carries does it begin it’s empowering transformation in us.

One thing we can never fake is our intimate relationship with the Lord. Why? Because only through intimacy with Him can we have lasting fruit.  Fruit is evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work in us, transforming our characters until Christ is fully reflected through us. His compassion and love overflow from our relationship with Him to others, attracting and compelling them to experience Jesus for themselves.

Become mindful of His Spirit being alive inside you every day. Know He is with you and for you and is always willing to move mightily through you. Be ever sensitive to hear His voice in every situation, and let His peace guide you into divine victory and freedom. The Word of God is not to impact you for a moment, but for every moment, of every day, until Jesus returns! Pursue Him always and you will naturally become a reflection of His marvellous character.
