The Bible says God put all things under the feet of Jesus. Since Jesus is the head of the church and we, the church are His body (Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 1:23), and all things have been placed under His feet; then since Jesus is the head, and we are the body, it means that all things are under our feet too! The Bible says God has put all things under the feet of Jesus and made Him the head over all things for the sake of His body, the church! So, if you are a part of the body of Christ, regardless of your position or role, as long as you’re in Christ, you are above all things! Hallelujah! Always remember who you are! 1 John 4:17 says that as Jesus is, so are you in this world. As He is seated in power and victory, far above all principalities, powers, might, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come – so are you when you are living in Him! So make sure you are abiding in Jesus, just as He told us to do in John 15. Then no matter what goes on in the world around you, you will reign in life in Christ Jesus. All things will be under your feet, subject to the authority He has given you every time you use His Name! You are no longer a victim in this world, subject to circumstances and whatever life throws your way! No, you are seated in heavenly places with Christ – ready to permit on earth what is permitted in heaven, and refuse on earth what is refused in heaven (Matthew 18:18).
