Rejoice in the Lord – Always!

God has never left us and He has never forsaken us. Even before the foundation of the world we were on His heart and known by Him (Ephesians 1:4). While we were being formed in our mother’s womb, He was intricately involved (Psalm 139:13). Every day of our lives has been recorded before Him (Psalm 139:16). Before you surrendered your life to Him, He was there. And from the moment you opened your heart to Him, He came to dwell inside you (1 Corinthians 6:17-20). That alone is reason to shout His praise! Paul admonished the church to rejoice in the Lord always, this is while he was in prison. That’s because praise is not dependant on the state of external circumstances. Praising God is a conscious decision made on the merit of who He is, and who we know Him to be! And it’s always appropriate to do so! Now, when we develop a constant attitude of praise in all we do, wherever we are, we make it impossible for the enemy to triumph over us! Our sincere, heartfelt praise stirs up the presence of God that is in us, causing it to gush forth with life and power into every part of our souls and bodies and then flow through us into those circumstances. Our words of praise literally declare the circumstances around us to take on the atmosphere of heaven (Matthew 18:18-20). This is how God literally dwells in the praises of his people! No matter what you face today, remember God is in you, and He is with you and you can choose to delight yourself in Him! As you do, your words of praise go to work causing every circumstance to align with God’s perfect plan of blessing and prosperity for you!
