There is great peace and security in knowing we belong to a God Who will never change His mind about us. His plans for us were already pre-determined. He saw us in Him before the foundation of the world! (Ephesians 1:4). Just as our God remains consistent in His excellent ways, we need to remain steadfast in our faith in Him. We must never allow our devotion and loyalty towards Him to be determined by what we see happening around us. Our relationship with our Heavenly Father should only grow in love and appreciation for His perfect love and abounding goodness. The word says He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! One great truth to hold fast to, is that while God will never change, we must! The more we learn about Him and who we are in Him, the more the Holy Spirit does a transforming work in us. We change one glorious degree after another into the very image of Jesus! Colossians 2:9-10 tells us that the fullness of the God-head dwells in Jesus, and since we are in Christ, the fullness of the God-head dwells in us too! Our spirits are not just inseparably connected to God’s Spirit – we are also filled with His fullness! But only when we allow these wonderful truths to dominate our thinking will the transformation take place. Because as a man thinketh in his heart – so is he! Determine to consistently renew your mind to what God’s word says you are in Him, and you will see while His faithfulness to you never changes – you will continuously move to new levels of victory and blessing in Him! He takes us from glory to glory and strength to strength!
