The knocks and challenges of life in this world have the ability to leave us feeling shaken and unnerved. However, 1 Corinthians 6:17 says that the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him! When we choose to live in Christ, we have the source of life flowing from His Spirit in and through us. His Spirit makes us alive, energises us, empowers us, and infuses us with inner strength to restore our bodies and souls! The quickest way to activate this process is to build yourself up in faith as you pray God’s perfect will over your life, by praying in the Holy Ghost; and by keeping yourself in the love of God (Jude 1:20-21).
Keeping yourself in God’s love means spending quality time in His Presence – opening your heart to be filled and flooded with His love (Romans 5:5). It also means spending quality time in His Word where your faith is built and hope is restored – while all fear and dread is expelled.
Today, be unwilling to do without the constant regeneration and energising work of God’s Spirit. Allow His divine influence on you to restore and recharge you to walk in the fullness of life and purpose He planned for you to enjoy.
