Sincerely Fruitful

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you’ve “tried” to do what was right? You tried to be a little more patient; tried to be a little less harsh; tried to shake off an uneasy feeling about something; tried to be a better Christian? The acted out results of this are often short-lived and completely unfruitful. You and I have been called to become the sons and daughters of God. The gift of God in our lives is His grace, which is His divine influence on our hearts and minds, which overflows to and is reflected in our lives!

This is what keeps us, strengthens us, increases us in faith and love, and our passion for walking and living as Jesus did – full of grace and full of truth. In order to live in the full expression of our God-given identity, we have to allow His grace to do its work in us. When we encounter the Lord, His Spirit does a real work in us – He changes our hearts, resulting in sincere, changed behaviour. Not merely acting out, but sincerely living out what God has done on the inside of us. Make a decision to yield to the changing grace of God’s Spirit each day.

That same power that brought you to salvation will sustain you as you become all that God has made you to be – sincerely fruitful.
