Cornelius was distinctly noticed by God for his giving and his prayer life (Acts 10:4). In our walk with the Lord, it is important to know that God can only bless what we decide to give Him to work with. Our co-operation with the Spirit of God – where He leads and we follow – is essential for us to walk in the full life of blessing He predestined for us to walk in. At the point of our salvation, when we surrendered out lives to Him, holding nothing back, we received everything we needed to live in unbroken fellowship with the Lord, through the indwelling Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
Now, whatever we give to God in obedience to His will, He places His hand upon – and the results are nothing less than glorious! When we live generously – giving into His kingdom with faith-filled, grateful hearts – He causes increase to come into our lives. When we spend time in communion with Him, praying His will over lives and circumstances, He hears and honours our prayers.
Whatever we surrender to Him, He willingly places His hand of protection, blessing and abundance on. Today, yield to His leading and follow His guidance. He will bless whatever you surrender to Him
