There are times we find ourselves caught off guard by battles that suddenly present themselves. There’s no time to call your pastor for advice, or read a book and do some research on the matter – you have to act swiftly and wisely right then and there. This is where your immediate response is to turn straight to the Lord. The Word says we can confidently and boldly access His throne of grace to receive well-timed, appropriate help – coming just when we need it! (Hebrews 4:16 AMPC) This is where we remind the Lord of our covenant relationship with Him and boldly stand ready for battle with stirred up faith inside us. We can watch expectantly in quiet confidence knowing what we have given over to Him, He will take care of. Today, be assured of His promise to see you through victoriously because you have put your trust in Him and chosen to follow His lead entirely.
