The Bible calls the fight of faith a good fight! That’s because Faith ALWAYS wins! In Christ Jesus our victory over the devil and any obstacles that stand in the way of us living in the full reality of what was accomplished for us in the death, burial and resurrection – is secured! Winning this fight is dependent on the way we choose to fight it. We are to become skilful in knowing exactly what God’s Word says about us, and what it says has already become ours. Then, we are to hold tightly to that truth as if it is the final authority of our lives! That means keeping our eyes fixed on that truth, and our thoughts and words aligned with it – never wavering – until we see it become our manifest reality! All we need to do is outlast the enemy! He will do everything in his power to distract us from believing that truth, but if we continue to hold fast by being grateful for what we know is ours, even before we see it – the devil will lose the battle. Constantly remind yourself of every good thing you have in Christ Jesus, and you will see what is already yours in the spirit become released into your natural reality (Philemon 1:6). Understand today that God’s Word says that out of His abundance – which already dwells inside you – you are fully supplied with grace upon grace, spiritual gift upon spiritual gift, favour upon favour, and gift heaped upon gift! (John 1:16). This is the truth – you are one that overcomes and you are well able to succeed, because you are blessed and the Greater One lives in you! So keep fighting the good fight of faith – because through God’s Spirit in you, and His Word alive in your heart and on your lips – you are destined to win!
