Since Jesus’ disciples hungered after hearing and understanding His teachings – and wanted to obey and apply its wisdom to their lives – He gave them a revelation of how the Kingdom of God operates. God promises to reveal the mysteries of His kingdom to anyone who deeply desires to know Him and walk in His ways above their own. A mystery is something that cannot be perceived through natural means; it must be revealed by the Holy Spirit, to our own spirits. It is the knowledge that is hidden in God and His Word and is unveiled only to those who hunger and thirst for Him. When we understand how God’s kingdom operates, we are able to stand confidently in our God-given authority, move in His love and compassion, and see His power and goodness manifest wherever we go. When you seek the Lord in prayer and His Word, with all your heart – longing to see His glory – He will reveal His mysteries to you. As a result, your life will be marked by evidence of His supernatural grace flowing in and through you.
