Everything will live wherever the river goes! The River of life that flows from the throne of God is the same river of life that Jesus said would spring up and gush from our inner-most beings when we drink from Him (John 7:38). This river of life allows us to draw from the abundance of Jesus! In John 1:16 it says that it’s from His abundance that we have received and been supplied with grace upon grace, favour upon favour, spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and gift, heaped upon gift! Hallelujah! As covenant children of God, we don’t look to the world or any other source than the abundant life of Jesus for our joy and life satisfaction! He is the fountain of life, that carries all we need! Colossians 2:9-10 tells us that in Jesus, the fullness of the God-head continues to dwell! In other words, everything that makes up God – is in Jesus! He is the light that expels all darkness. He is the love that never fails. He is the fire that purifies and empowers. He is the word that sanctifies and brings life, peace and faith! And here’s the part we start jumping up and down about – the Bible says we are complete in Him! Because we have the Spirit of Jesus Christ living inside of us – we have a limitless supply of all that He is! Hallelujah! The full measure of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwells in our inner-man too! Christ in us is the hope of glory! This is the earnest expectation we have – that as we surrender ourselves to Him, we draw from the river of abundant life that flows from Him and carries every part of His nature, into ourselves! The more we surrender, the more His life, light, fire, word, and love dominates us and begins to flow from us – so that wherever we go, that river flows bringing healing and life with it! Just surrender to Jesus today, drink deep from His presence and watch that river flow!
