Trust in the Lord

The bible is a rich treasure trove of God’s wisdom and revelation. The prophet Isaiah called it  God’s “report” and complained bitterly over people’s failure to believe it. God’s word is the deciding factor and final authority concerning our lives. When we choose to put our full hope in its truth and live by its life-giving ways – we will always prosper (Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:7-8).  No matter how hopeless you may feel today, or how trapped you seem to be as a victim of your circumstances – God’s word declares a different report! Proverbs 18:10 says that the name of the LORD is a strong tower; and the righteous run to it and are safe. The name of Jesus is higher and more powerful than any other name, and every knee – in heaven, on earth, and below the earth – will bow to that name (Philippians 2:9-10). If you humble yourself before the Lord today, cast every care at His feet, and choose to trust Him, His Word, and His name – being careful to do whatever He tells you – you will see Him move mightily on your behalf with His mighty arm of strength.
