All we need for victory in this life is found in knowing God! Ephesians 1:10 says God has placed all things that are in heaven and earth in Christ! Then in Colossians 3:3, we find this wonderful truth: “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Hallelujah! Since we are in Christ, and God has placed all things in Him – we have direct access to everything we will ever need for victory in this life! We were placed into Christ and become a new creature, from the moment we became born-again. A whole new world of victory and fullness of life was opened up to us! This doesn’t mean trials and tribulations won’t come our way. We live in a fallen world that is under the curse of sin, and we have an enemy, the devil, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy everything that God has and loves. But praise God – the devil is a defeated foe! Because we are in Christ – we have been given all authority over Satan and he can in no way harm us (Luke 10:19)! Not if we awaken to the reality of who we truly are in Christ by renewing our minds to His Word. In Romans 9:37, Paul wrote: “Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ Jesus!” Victory belongs to us through Jesus, Who causes us to overcome in this life! In Revelation 12:11, John wrote powerful words! He said we overcome the enemy through the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and not to love our lives so much that we are afraid to die. Our natural bodies will pass away, but our spirits are eternally connected to the life of God! That’s why the life we live here is not tied to the temporary things around us – we live in view of an eternal kingdom and we are determined to bring as many people into this kingdom as we can! Start living in the awareness of the victory that is already yours today, it will draw others to know Christ and to experience His victory for themselves!
