Wells of Salvation

The Bible says we will draw water from the “wells” of salvation. The word “wells” is plural.  It speaks of more than one water source. When Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit indwelling those who believe, He said “rivers of water” would flow from their inner-most being. Here again, we see the source of water being plural. Indicating more than one flow of living water within us. What does this mean?  Well, Isaiah prophesied that at the point of our salvation, we received wells of salvation when the Holy Spirit came to take residence in our inner-man.  With the Holy Spirit came His living water and power, with the purpose to flow into every area of our lives, causing us to be healed, set free from any bondage from the enemy, and made righteous so we can live free from sin. But Jesus didn’t just die for that, He died so that we could have His abundant life fill us with peace and joy, boldness and inner strength too. We can draw from His well of healing if we’re sick. We can draw from His well of provision if we’re in need. We can draw from His well of peace in the midst of a storm. He has made everything pertaining to life and godliness available to us from these wells and rivers of living water (2 Peter 1:3-4)! Ephesians 1:3 says we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, in Christ.  That word “Christ” means the anointed One and His anointing.  With the Spirit of Christ living inside us, His anointing supplies us with every spiritual blessing and empowerment to live just like we would in heaven! With nothing missing, nothing broken and nothing lacking!  Praise God! With the Holy Spirit living inside us, we have all we need to live a life of freedom, power, and victory! Open your heart to a fresh surge of those living waters that flow from deep within your inner-man!
